LAFAURIE
08.91
In 1991, our father, Pierre, created Emile Lafaurie, a network of boutiques dedicated to the men’s wardrobe. In 2018, we took the reins with the ambition of turning it into a creative brand and continuing what he began: redefining the essentials of the men’s wardrobe with a twist.
Every day, we combine the precision of tailoring with the art of subtle reinterpretation. It can be a collar detail, a signature shade, or an unexpected fabric — the small touches that make all the difference in a garment.
In short, at Lafaurie, we cultivate the art of standing out, without ever overdoing it.
Théo & Pablo Lafaurie
AU 4 RUE DU CANIVET 75006.
Lafaurie has set up shop just steps from the Luxembourg Gardens in the former lampshade workshops of Théo and Pablo's grandmothers. More than just an address, it's the primary inspiration for our design studio. A neighborhood that is both classic and timeless, embodying a free, artistic, and sometimes irreverent spirit.
Painter Jacket.
Original.
Rue de Birague in the 1990s. A painter walks into Lafaurie's shop, his work jacket covered in gouache stains. He wants to replace it. Pierre Lafaurie decides to create one for him: the Painter's Jacket is born. A new men's essential, to be worn every day of the week, it finally reconciles functionality and elegance.
Lafaurie's French Touch.
For over 30 years, we have cultivated our craftsmanship alongside our partner artisans. We work directly with all of our workshops, always without intermediaries.
Together, we explore the finest European fabrics, reinvent them, and infuse them with the subtle twist that gives our garments their distinctive character.
Since 1991, we have been known for our work with colour — half-tones and muted shades that bring effortless flair to every silhouette.
