Leather
Our leather jackets are cut from velour lambskin, worked reverse nappa — a technique that involves using the reverse side of the skin to reveal a soft, slightly suede-like surface: a living leather that develops a patina over time, reveals itself with wear, and gives each jacket a unique personality.
We'll tell you more.
MANUFACTURING MADE IN CASABLANCA
The art of leatherwork is not something that can be improvised. Our artisans have mastered it for generations, and for the Giverny coat, they have selected with the utmost care a sheepskin with a suede underside, an exceptional material that deserves closer attention.
Each piece? Cut individually. Assembled by the same person from start to finish. A traditional craft passed down from hand to hand, a standard that is non-negotiable.
In the workshop, each hide is meticulously matched to the color scheme to achieve an impeccably uniform finish. Not a single flaw in sight. That's the Lafaurie standard.
MAINTENANCE GUIDE
Waterproof the leather from the start with a special smooth leather spray, reapplying it once a year. Clean it with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a suitable soap, then let it air dry on a hanger, away from any heat source. Condition it two to three times a year with a gentle milk or cream, using circular motions, then buff with a soft cloth. Store it on a wide hanger in a dry, well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight.
