THAT DEEP BLUE THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE
THE BASIS
Indigo, this natural pigment of a deep blue that gives denim its noble character, is alive.
And like everything that lives, it evolves, it moves, it releases. That's normal, that's even what makes it so charming.
The reason this color transfer is so pronounced is that indigo is by nature a delicate, almost capricious pigment. But isn't that precisely what makes it so desirable?
First piece of advice, and you'll thank us later: avoid white sofas at first.
The ritual of washing
• Always cold, always upside down
• Separately the first few times
• Delicate program
• Add a spoonful of coarse salt to the wash to help set the color
• Never use fabric softener; it is the enemy of indigo.
ENHANCE YOUR INDIGO
PERFECT DRYING
Always in the shade.
Direct sunlight is indigo's worst enemy. It bleaches, it washes away, it ruins all the work of our artisan dyers.
LET TIME DO IT.
Indigo is like a fine wine: it improves with age.
The variations in color that appear? That's its signature. Each piece develops its own character, tells your story.
THE STUDIO COUNCIL
If your garment bleeds onto another item of clothing, don't panic. A quick cold wash before the stain dries, and everything will be fine.
